Student can also join Indian Legal Services. UPSC conducts the exam of Indian Legal Services for various posts. The selected candidates are appointed as Law Officers, Deputy Legal Advisers, Assistant Advisers, Legal Advisors in Department of Legal Affairs and Legislative Counsel in Legislative Department.
Student can join Judiciary after completion of his BBA, LL.B. For that he has to clear Judicial Service Exam conducted by various State Public Service Commission under the supervision of High Court. The selected candidates are appointed in the lowest judicial cadre post of Magistrate or Civil Judge.
If student has passion for Indian Army, there is also scope for Law graduates to serve in Indian Army. One can join Indian Army in Judge Advocate General Branch (JAG). For that one must possess at least 55% aggregate marks in LL.B and must have Registration with Bar Council of India/State.
There is much demand for LL.B graduates in Banking Sector also. In India various Banks appoint LL.B graduates for the post of Manager (Law), Legal Advisers etc. Moreover, Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) conducts CWE Specialist officer examination every year for various posts in the Banking Sector for LL.B graduates.
